Summer Adventures

Happy Friday! Summer has arrived and is the perfect time for road trip adventures! Today, I’m sharing a card featuring the Adventure Awaits stamp set.

To create the background, I die-cut watercolour paper using the Rounded Corner Stitched Rectangle Dies. I added Embossing Paste through the Snowfall 6×6” Stencil with a palette knife. Once it dried, I added Distress Watercolour Pencils in the colours Evergreen Bough and Chipped Sapphire, and then I added splatters using the same colours for added interest.

I created a card base from white cardstock and adhered the colored panel using liquid glue.

I stamped images and the sentiment from the Adventure Awaits set and cut them out with the coordinating dies. I colored the images with Copics and added highlights with a white gel pen.

Finally, I attached the images to the card using glue and double-sided tape.
