You Got This

Happy Tuesday. Today I am sharing a beautiful hiking scene I created using several digital images from Kinda Cute by Patricia.

I used the Forest Background Digital Stamp and added the Hills and Lake Background Digital Stamp behind it. I wanted my hiking scene to have water and mountains in the background, so I thought these two background stamps would be perfect. Why use only one digi background stamp when you can use two?!

I added the Chicken Adventurer Digital Stamp and one of the hedgehogs from the Hedgehog digital stamp set to the foreground to complete the scene. I then matted the coloured panel onto a grey card base.

My husband and I love hiking; on our more advanced hikes, we take breaks to enjoy an apple and some nuts and take in the scenery, much like these two friends. It can be hard to start moving again sometimes, so I added the sentiment “You got this” (from a white on black Time For Tea Designs sentiment card) as I thought it was fitting.

We haven’t been on hikes for the last two months due to the heat and are very much looking forward to getting back out there when the weather cools off!
