Easter Egg Hunt Fun

Hello everyone! I am very excited to share my very first card as part of the Kinda Cute design team! Patricia’s digital stamps are so adorable and I loved creating this Easter egg hunt scene with several of her sets.

For my card, I used the Kitchen Door House Background, Easter Times, and Cute Shaped Animals 2 Digital Stamp Sets. The sentiment is from the Holiday Basic Sentiments Digital Stamp Set.

I used Adobe Photoshop to lay out the scene and mask the areas that needed to be. For instance, I needed to mask part of the eggs to have them pop out of the easter basket and planter as well as be situated behind other elements. I love this part of the process as it allows me to build up my scene and move things around until I am happy with where they are. This is why I love digital stamps so much, the flexibility is amazing!

I printed the scene and coloured the scene with my Copics and added some white gelly roll accents for interest. To complete the card I glued it down to a teal card base.
