Skating Friends

Hello and welcome to day three of my Christmas Card Countdown. Today I am sharing a winter skating scene featuring the adorable critters from the Skating By Penguins Clear Stamp Set that is now back in stock over in the Time For Tea Designs shop. This set paired perfectly with the Winter Backgrounds stamp set to create a fun scene.

To start I stamped two of the Winter Background stamps. Next, I stamped the skating penguins and little birds – this involved some masking and reverse stamping to get the scene just the way I wanted it. Once everything was stamped, I coloured the scene in with my copics and added some white highlights, snow and stars with my white Gelly Roll Pen.

I trimmed out my scene and mounted it on some blue cardstock that I attached to a white card base. I added some white dashed lines to frame the card. For the sentiment I used an older stamp set – Warm Winter Wishes – which is also back in stock.
