Call me on my Shell Phone

With all of the uncertainty going on in the world today, I hope that everyone is trying to take a moment to just breathe in and out – I know I need to remind myself to do this. These are scary times, we all need to do our part and heed the warnings and practice social distancing. I will continue to post my creations to try to bring some smiles and enjoyment to others.

For this weeks Time For Tea Designs card I created an underwater scene using some new and older supplies. For the scene, I used the Shell Phone and coordinating die set. For the background, I used the the large square masking stencil and the Clouds Stencil.

I stamped, copic coloured and die cut the elements. To add some dimension I cut out two extra mermaids and glued them to the back of the coloured mermaid.

To create the background I used the large square masking stencil and the Clouds Stencil along with some Distress Oxide Ink (Faded Jeans, Salty Ocean) and my Blender Brush – Medium. I added some water droplets as well as some white Distress Paint splatters.

To finish the card a I added the “call me on my SHELL phone” sentiment.
