Happy 2020

Happy New Year! I closed out 2019 creating this sparkling card which feature s Time For Tea Designs Magical Snowflake Stencil as confetti as well as the Scalloped Frame Die for a border.

I started by applying some Gina K. designs gold Glitz glitter gel to the snowflake stencil. I purchased the glitter gel at Scrap of Paradise during their boxing week sale, I just love this local craft store! They have a huge variety of supplies and I enjoy perusing the isles. This glitter gel goes on well and is FULL of glitter. It was tricky getting all of the glitter off of the stencil so be sure to wash it quickly.

I die cut ‘Happy’ (Happy Greetings from MFT) and ‘2020’ (Simple Numbers from Simon Says Stamp) from some black card stock. I also die cut the larger scalloped frame from Time for Tea Designs out of white card stock. I used liquid glue to adhere the words and the frame to the glittery background.

For the images I used two cute squirrels from the O Christmas Tree stamp set from hello Bluebird and two digital stamps from Sweet Stamp Shop. Sadly Sweet Stamp Shop closed its doors in 2019, I will miss the sweet creations from Nicole Rixon. I coloured all of the images with copics and then adhered them to the card with liquid glue.
