Merry Christmas everyone! Today I am sharing a ‘deer’ card featuring the Christmas Deer stamp set and dies from Time For Tea Designs. I love how you can combine the cute deer with the background stamp to create a scene.
I stamped and coloured one of the cute deer and the background snow and trees and die but them out. I used the Simon Says Stamp stitched circles wafer dies to cut out a circle and a circle frame. For the sentiment I used the awesome Merry Sentiment Die. I just love that it comes with both the word and outline. I used some foil paper for the sentiment and white card stock for the outline.
For the background I used some patterned paper that I have had in my stash for a long time! I am always so afraid to use it because I love it so much but I thought it would be perfect for this card. I die cut it out with largest die in the Mama Elephant – Peek A Frame creative Cuts die set. I love the stitched lines it makes around the borders.
I assembled the card by placing all the elements on the background using liquid glue. I then added some glossy accents to the tree as well as some puffy snow using my snow marker from Uchida. I love that it puffs up when you heat it up – it adds a fun dimensional element to cards.
