This week’s card once again features the new “Thanks A Whole Bunch” stamp and die set which are now available on the Time For Tea Designs website. I really enjoyed water colouring all of the flowers and leaves.
I stamped the flowers with Versafine Onyx Black ink and heat embossed them with clear embossing powder. I like doing this for two reasons, one, it helps to set the Versafine ink (which takes a LONG time to dry) and two, it creates a bit of a well for water colouring which helps inexperienced water colorists like myself!
I used my “Koi Water Colors – Pocket Field Sketch Box” to colour in the flowers. Once they were dry I added some Sakura White Gelly Roll dots and lines for interest. I then stuck the kitty from the set to the card after I copic coloured and die cut it out.
For the white boarder I used the two largest dies from the Mama Elephant – Peek A Frame creative Cuts die set to cut out a frame from white card stock. For the sentiment I used the Sketchy Banner Greetings stamp set and die from Simon Says Stamp. The “just wanted to say” portion was stamped in Versafine Onyx Black ink and die cut. The “congrats” was heat embossed onto black card stock using Alabaster ultra fine embossing powder by Brutus Monroe.
Don’t forget I have a 10% discount code for the T4T store which can be used on anything, anytime and has no time limit – T4TANNALISA10
