I created the door using two die sets, Die-namic’s Pierced Traditional Tag STAX and Simon Says Stamp’s stitched squares wafer dies. I coloured it using copic markers (BG49, BG13 and R05). For the wall and ground I used techniques I learned in Sandy Allnock’s Copic Hex Art course at art-classes.com. I added some highlights with a white Gelly Roll pen. I adhered the door to the background using double sided tape.
For inside the door, I used the kitty from the Thanks A Whole Bunch set and coloured and die cut it. I cut out several layers of white card stock using the kitty die and adhered them to the back of the coloured cat to give it some dimension. I then stamped the “hello” sentiment and coloured a sign backing behind it.
To finish off the card I added an enamel accent for the door handle.
