You are Elephantastic

Today I am sharing a pop-up box-card using the new Time for Tea Designs Elephantastic Collection as well as the new Box Clever Die Set. These two sets work so well together and I had so much fun making this card.

I started off by colouring some 110 lb card stock with Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide and then spattered on some water and white paint. I cut out the box sections using the appropriate dies in the Box Clever Die Set. For the grassy hills, I coloured some card stock using Mowed Lawn and Twisted Citron Distress Oxide and cut them out with the die. There is a small section of glass at the front that I used the Grassy Hillside Borders die set from Lawn Fawn. Once all the box elements were cut and coloured, I assembled the box.

For the elements inside of the box I stamped and coloured pieces from the Elephantastic stamp set (these are currently only available on the Create and Craft website but will be coming to the Time for Tea Designs website soon!) The other smaller elements on the card are from Beauty Sleep (flower), You Snailed It (butterfly and mushroom), Butterflies (mushroom and mouse) and Toucan Do This (branch).

I then adhered the all of the elements using liquid glue to the inside of the card. For added strength on the backs of the elephants, I added some acetate as only a small portion was stuck to the grassy hills.

To finish off the card I stamped the sentiment ‘You are Elephantastic’ on the front of the box. I just love pop up cards and love the way this one turned out.

Don’t forget I have a 10% discount code for the T4T store which can be used on anything, anytime and has no time limit – T4TANNALISA10.
